Position Summary:
The Threat & Risk Analyst manages and configures institutional security and law enforcement related technology systems to mitigate the risk of harm to the university.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Manage and configure institutional security and law enforcement related technology systems to mitigate the risk of harm to the university.
Research and analyze data to reduce threats and criminal risks to the university.
Researches, analyzes, and reports on data from various sources related to threat/risk incidents and investigations.
Identifies trends and develops strategies to increase safety to the university.
Ensures information management procedures comply with federal, state, and institutional policies.
Minimum Salary: $75,000
Midpoint Salary: $94,000
Maximum Salary: $113,000
Certification/Skills:
Valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in risk evaluation and analysis, threat assessments and analysis, law enforcement, general case investigations, behavioral intervention analysis, crisis management or conflict resolution.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive:
This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
