The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School, invites applications for a Full-Time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics Division of Community General.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Assistant Professor will contribute to the clinical activities of the Division of Pediatric Community & General by providing direct clinical services to patient care in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and treating wide range of disorders consultations, acute care
Ordering and interpreting lab results and developing treatment plans.
Participating in teaching programs for residents and medical students for the
division and department by mentorship, consulting, training through didactics.
MD degree or equivalent
Texas medical license/eligible for Texas Faculty Temporary License
American Board of Pediatrics License or eligibility to obtain
3 years Residency in pediatrics.
