Position Key Accountabilities:

The candidate will contribute to the clinical activities of the Division of Community and General Pediatrics by providing direct clinical services and patient care in an outpatient setting under the direction of the Division Director. Clinical care duties include, but are not limited to, the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of disorders, consultations, acute care, ordering and interpreting laboratory results, and developing treatment plans. Participate in the teaching programs for the residents and medical students for the division and department by mentorship, consulting, training, through didactics, and may conduct grand rounds.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent, Texas Medical License or eligible for Texas Faculty Temporary License, American Board of Pediatrics Certificate or eligible to obtain. Three (3) years of Pediatric Residency training; and travel to affiliated employer hospitals and clinics in Harris and Fort Bend counties in Texas.
