The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, McGovern Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology, seeks a Hematologist at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, depending on applicant’s qualifications. This position will include a clinical practice in the Memorial Hermann Hospital, the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and a sickle cell center.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The position involves inpatient and/or outpatient clinical care, teaching, and clinical and bench research. There are currently three full time adult hematology faculty, with whom the work load of the Division is to be shared.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Required or preferred board certification/eligibility statement. Required or preferred minimum years of clinical experience or years post residency statement.
