The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist f ocused on the highest level of patient care to join our program in the Department of Neurology . This employment opportunity is for a neurologist with primary interest in providing acute Neurology care in an inpatient hospital setting.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The selected candidate will alternate weeks on the adult General Neurology services and the Neurology Consult services and provide on call services based at Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston, a large tertiary academic hospital, for 30 weeks a year. There are no outpatient responsibilities. These services are teaching services with Neurology residents and potentially a Neuro-hospitalist fellow. An interest or experience in education and quality improvement is recommended.

- Graduates of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
(ACGME) accredited neurology residency
- Active board-certifications and be licensed in the State of Texas (or eligible to
- Outstanding clinical, interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with
excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
