Counsels and assists employees regarding their benefits.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Counsels and assists employees regarding benefit choices and claims.
Performs PeopleSoft entries for benefit transactions.
Administers leave plans.
Administers parking activities related to employee deductions.
Conducts weekly new employee orientation and retiree counseling.
Generates and coordinates annual enrollment activities and documentation.
Processes vendor payments.
Reconciles deductions and insurance plans, including health, dental, vision, parking, life, and short and long-term disability (STD and LTD).
Ensures coverage accuracy with multiple carriers and with UTSystem eligibility.
Processes overrides and adjustments for inclusion with payroll deadlines.
Analyzes personnel transactional data for continued eligibility and take necessary action if required.
Web page updates and other essential communications regarding benefits and leave plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Excellent customer service skills; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of related experience; experience with PeopleSoft (Version 8.9 or higher) preferred.
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
