Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist- HYBRID SCHEDULE

We seek to recruit an adult psychiatrist for a full-time outpatient faculty position at Harris Health Systems Settegast Health Center.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences will serve as an outpatient attending and clinical faculty for the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, with assignment to Harris Health Systems Settegast Health Center.

The selected candidate will provide direct patient care, teaching, and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows at Harris Health Systems Settegast Health Center and will be expected to contribute to the Department’s mission of education, research, and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree.

  • Licensed or license eligible in the State of Texas.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.

Experience or interest in research and/or education is preferred.

Depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and credentials, faculty appointments at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor will be offered.
