Position Summary:

Assists in the daily reconciliation for UT Physicians to reconcile transaction across the general ledger and bank statement with other key accounts.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  1. Modifies and reconciles the daily ledger report.

  2. Assists in identifying the transactions that have posted to the bank but have not been recorded on the general ledger.

  3. Identifies and requests correction transactions posted on the general ledger that do not match to the bank deposit information.

  4. Reviews the scanned batches associated with the daily transactions to ensure scanned items are in sequence order and comply with UT Physicians Batch Scanning protocol.

  5. Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines in regards to patient information.

  6. Performs other duties as assigned.


Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, database navigation, and cloud-based applications. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Minimum Education:

Associate’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience:

One year of related experience. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
