The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School invites application for a full-time Staff Physician (Hospitalist) in the Department of Pediatrics-Hospital Medicine.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing excellent patient care

  • Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests

  • Creating and recommending treatment plan

  • Taking patient medical histories, and performing appropriate physical examinations.

Responsibilities will include at least 14 shifts per month. Call will be shared with other community hospitalist staff in an equitable fashion.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Must be board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
