McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Professor (non-tenure clinical track) faculty position in the Department of Neurosurgery. We are seeking an academic neurosurgeon specializing in general and spinal neurosurgery.
The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to focus on the highest quality care and achieving the best outcomes, the best service and achieving the highest patient and referring doctor satisfaction, innovation and testing of new ideas, the advancement of medicine and setting new standards of care, and teaching the next generation to be the best.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery will join a growing general/spine neurosurgery practice in Southwest Houston.
-Participating in the Mischer Neuroscience Associates practice at the Memorial
Hermann-Southwest and Memorial Hermann-Sugarland locations; including
participation in a UT general Neurosurgery physician group call team for
logistics and new physician recruitment.
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Candidates must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
