The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School is seeking a full-time Board Certified Urologic Surgeon, fellowship trained in Pediatric Urology, in the Division of Pediatric Urology, Department of Pediatric Surgery.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Participation in the academic program to include training of medical students, residents, and fellows will be expected. Candidates should have the ability to lead programmatic development in an area of specialized expertise. Current areas of preferred expertise are in transitional care and prenatal urology. Salary and fringe benefits are commensurate with a state university position.
The candidate should have experience in all aspects of pediatric urology, including genital reconstruction, urinary tract reconstruction, and fetal urology and voiding disorders of childhood. Participation in daily clinical activities, including operating room, consultation, fetal therapy interdisciplinary meetings, and multidisciplinary and specialty clinics (Spina Bifida, Bladder Clinic, Bowel Clinic), provides a diverse exposure to all areas of pediatric urology. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the physician will participate actively in the education and training of urology residents and medical students from UT Health.

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. The candidate must be board certified in urology and fellowship trained in Pediatric Urology.
