McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track rank position in the Department of Family & Community Medicine. The selected candidate will contribute to the departments missions to provide health care to an urban underserved population and training the next generation of physicians.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Providing direct patients care in an outpatient settings and other activities may include supervision of medical students and residents in clinic.
Developing and sustaining an environment in the patient care units that support excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes to include excellent risk adjusted outcomes.
The selected candidate for the position are required to be an M.D., D.O., ABFM Board Certified and qualify for a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Multlingual skills preferred. Comprehensive benefits package. Salary and rank commensurate with position.
