The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center - McGovern Medical School, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is seeking applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine to work at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Position Key Accountabilities:
This faculty member will serve as a gastroenterologist with additional training in advanced endoscopy and serve as the Director of Inpatient Gastroenterology at Memorial Hermann - TMC. They will be responsible for the continuity of a high level of clinical quality and efficiency for our gastroenterology inpatient and outpatient service line as well as focus on the development of an academic career through education of current fellows and active participation in research.
Candidates must have an MD/DO, be board certified in gastroenterology and have an additional year of training in advanced endoscopy and be eligible for full medical licensure in Texas.
