The Department of Neurology, McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, is looking for a board certified/eligible neurologist, who is driven and desirous of being part of a rapidly growing department based at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. The selected candidate will work at the Harris Health ACS Community Health clinics, and will also participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. This is a Clinical Educator Track position, but for the right candidate we can provide resources for research. Selected candidate will have the opportunity to participate in innovative health care models and engage in field-leading research and receive support to develop federal and private grants if interested.
Position Key Accountabilities:
This faculty member will serve as a neurologist in the Harris Health Community Health Centers. This position will split time between clinic locations in El Franco Lee Health Center in Southwest Houston and Squatty Lyons Health Center in Humble TX. They will be responsible for the continuity of a high level of clinical quality and efficiency for our neurology outpatient service line with Harris Health. This employment opportunity is for a neurologist with primary interest in clinic setting. This position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
-Texas Medical License or eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License
