Physician Education Loan Repayment Program opportunity available for eligible inpatient faculty. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of the McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston offers an extraordinary opportunity to join the inpatient faculty at the UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (UT-HCPC), our 250 bed inpatient facility located in the Texas Medical Center.
Position Key Accountabilities:
This position also provides exceptional teaching opportunities for McGovern Medical School students and as part of the Psychiatry Residency Training program.
Candidates for the position must have an M.D. or equivalent degree . Additionally, candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensing in the State of Texas, and be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
Depending upon applicant qualifications and credentials, faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor will be offered.
