The University of Texas Health Center at Houston-McGovern Medical School invites applicants for Casual Staff Physician (Community) positions in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

These Staff Physician positions are responsible for the effective delivery of high quality medical services to individuals served by Memorial Hermann Memorial City and/or Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Pediatric Emergency Centers.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Staff physician's duties include, direct delivery of medical care, working concert with other members of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including consultants, when necessary, and participation in the quality assurance activities of the department. The staff physicians will report to the medical director but are expected to practice independently. He/she must be able to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine, in a manner that supports the needs of the child and her/his family.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have a M.D., be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatrics Emergency Medicine, be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas (or eligible to be licensed).
