The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), leading academic health center - McGovern Medical School is seeking applicants for Staff Physician positions in the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The responsibilities of this position include providing clinical service effort at Memorial Hermann and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospitals helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center. You will be required to work a set number of clinical hours a month and the remaining hours per month will be protected for research, administrative, and educational activities. We expect your participation in the Department's teaching activities including both the medical student and house staff educational programs, didactic conferences, seminars, lectures, and case presentations, as well as your enthusiastic support of our Department's professional activities.
Candidates must have a medical degree, be board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine and be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas (or eligible to be licensed).
